FREIGHT DAMAGE & SHORTAGES
The freight industry requires the following actions in the event of freight damage or shortages: • It is the customer's responsibility to note visible carton damage or shortages on the freight receipt. • Shortages must be noted on bill of lading at the time of delivery with the delivery driver present. • Customer is required to contact Chemex Industries Customer Service to file a complaint, sending the signed delivery receipt noting the damages or shortages. NOTE: Concealed damage must be reported in writing to Chemex within 10 business days.
PRODUCT WARRANTY
Chemex Industries warrants its products against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. At Chemex’s discretion, merchandise or components found to be defective will be repaired or replaced. Chemex will not be responsible for third party charges incurred without prior approval, nor be liable for incidental or consequential damages from breach of an express or implied warranty on its products. This warranty does not cover damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, neglect or product transportation.
